Confined Space
With the increased complexity of equipment and processes on manufacturing and utility sites, our clients find that they have an increased need for scaffolding in difficult to access areas such as as silos, tanks, chambers and voids. These areas are now often classified as 'confined spaces'.
Clear Scaffolding are experts at providing scaffolding solutions within confined spaces and have a dedicated team of highly trained operatives who regularly work in this type of environment and are fully familiar with the special techniques and equipment that needs to be used in order to work safely in these areas.
Our management carry out site specific survey and risk assessments for all confined space projects in order to ensure that the clients requirements can be met and that the work can be completed safely.
Asbestos Removal
We have considerable experience within this field and our operatives regularly erected access scaffolds and basic enclosure frameworks for various asbestos removal contractors. All our operatives have 'scaffolder asbestos training' which is periodically updated and many have had further site instruction in the use of decontamination units. All our operatives have their own personnel 'asbestos' PPE & RPE which they take to site. All employees undergo medical surveillance and all have face fit test for their 'half-face' masks.
