Independent Access Scaffold on a Busy Pedestrian High Street

Scope of Works:

Erected a four-lift independent scaffold with a walkthrough base lift to provide safe gutter and roof access on a busy pedestrian high street.

Challenges:

Working on a busy pedestrian street required maintaining safe and clear access for the public throughout the project. Protecting both pedestrians and the building’s exterior was essential, especially in a high-traffic area.

Our Solution:

We erected a four-lift scaffold with a walkthrough base lift that allowed pedestrians to pass safely underneath. To protect the public and the building, we fitted foam sleeves on the scaffold base and brick guards on the top working lift. This ensured safety and prevented damage while allowing Blade Roofing to work efficiently.
