Haki Staircase & Roof Handrails Installation at Retail Park, Doncaster

Scope of Works:

Supplied and erected a Haki staircase with a fully braced support tower and approximately 140 m of A-frame handrails to provide safe access for roof repairs at a busy retail park. The scaffold enabled safe movement for trades while supporting ongoing site operations in a high-traffic area.

Challenges:

The scaffold needed to be positioned away from public areas to prevent disruption, while keeping deliveries in the loading bay running smoothly. Security outside working hours was also essential to prevent unauthorised access. The busy retail environment required careful planning to ensure site operations were not affected.

Our Solution:

The Haki staircase and support tower were strategically located within the loading bay, keeping pedestrian and public areas clear. The staircase was fitted with 4 m-high ranch board hoarding and a steel padlocked gate to control access, providing a secure entry point for authorised personnel only. Approximately 140 m of A-frame handrails were installed to clearly define the client’s work area.
